In honor of our first snowfall of the season here in Denver (BTW, Go Broncos!), I sought out some fun snow related scrapbook supplies. It reminds me of the time when I was walking through Michael’s and saw a really cool pre-made tag like the one here. I almost bought it because it was so cute. Then, I said to myself, “But do I really need a fancy tag for just some snow?” The next weekend we got 3 FEET of snow right here in Denver. Some folks in the foothills got 7 feet. Shut the whole city down.
As soon as I could get out of our driveway (three days later) I went to Michaels and bought the tag. Now, that snowfall was worthy of a fancy tag!
I love snowflakes. My sister and I used to catch them on our dark-colored gloves and try to see two that were alike. Never did work…
Making Memories Trinkets-Snowflake
One thing I am really grateful for is that we have all four seasons here in Colorado. In fact, I have on my list of “Albums To Do” a set of Seasons albums. How fun would it be to bring out the Winter album right now just to solidify the season? We could sit around with hot chocolate and reminisce about winters gone by. Then run out and grab some photos for the winter of 2005 - which seems to have started … today.
